Terms of service

1. What ScanGhar does

ScanGhar is an online tool for property owners. You create a listing page for a property you want to rent, lease or sell, and we give you a link, a QR code and a poster that point to that page. People who scan the poster see your listing and contact you directly.

ScanGhar is not a real estate broker or agent. We do not take part in, negotiate, or guarantee any rental, lease or sale, and we charge no brokerage or commission. Any agreement is between you and the person who contacts you.

2. Your account

• Your account is your phone number. Keep access to it; anyone who can log in with it can manage your listings.
• You must be 18 or older and able to enter a contract under Indian law.
• Give true information. We may suspend accounts that use someone else's number or identity.

3. Your listings

• List only property you own or are authorised to rent, lease or sell.
• Listings must be accurate and lawful: no misleading prices or photos, no discrimination by religion, caste, gender or other protected grounds, and no content you don't have rights to.
• You are responsible for what your listing says and for your dealings with anyone who contacts you.
• We may edit, pause or remove a listing that breaks these terms or the law, or that we receive a valid complaint about.
• Your listing page, including the phone number you choose to show, is public while it is live.

4. Plans and prices

• Free: a listing link and QR stay live for 3 days, with a downloadable poster PDF.
• Listing Pass (paid): keeps your listing links live for the period you pay for. Prices are on the Pricing page and are charged in Indian rupees.
• Printed posters: PVC flex posters delivered in Bengaluru, paid cash on delivery, at the price shown when you order.
• We may change prices for future purchases. A price change never affects a period you have already paid for.

5. Payments

Online payments are processed by Razorpay, a licensed payment aggregator. We never see or store your card, UPI PIN or bank login details. A paid plan starts when the payment is confirmed. Plans do not renew automatically: you pay again to renew.

7. Availability

We work to keep ScanGhar running, but it is provided “as is” and may sometimes be unavailable for maintenance or reasons outside our control. When a link expires or a plan ends, the listing page shows “no longer available” until it is renewed.

8. Liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim about ScanGhar is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim. We are not liable for losses arising from dealings between owners and the people who contact them.

9. Changes and law

We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version, and continuing to use ScanGhar means you accept it. These terms are governed by the laws of India, and courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka have jurisdiction.
